Practical AI-guided reflection.

Lower the friction of getting started

Turn an avoided task into a specific, small action while examining real obstacles.

Understand the problem

Avoidance may reflect unclear instructions, competing priorities, low energy, fear or practical barriers. Do not assume laziness. Define what starting looks like in observable terms, and make the first step small enough for your present capacity. If the task is not actually yours or is unrealistic, renegotiation may be a better choice than another productivity technique.

Take a practical next step

Write an if-then plan: When a specific cue occurs, I will do one small action in a named place. Prepare the materials and identify what you will do if the original plan becomes impossible.

A question to consider

Is the next step unclear, too large, unsupported or not genuinely important to me?
